THE HERMIT OF LANDS Arnolfe
This beautiful hike fails to connect places of great historical and archaeological interest, sacred and profane, in a process that unfolds "through the ages" through beautiful forests of oak and panoramic views of rare beauty.
It starts from Carsulae, ancient Roman town on the Via Flaminia, you reach the Franciscan convent of the Hermit (La Romita) going up a small path in a fairy-tale forest of oak.
The excursion can optionally go to the top of Mount Torre Maggiore, a site of enormous importance because it preserves the remains of a monumental cult complex
